In “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse,” something truly spectacular happened for fans of the beloved Insomniac video game Spider-Man. In the summer blockbuster, an animated version of our web-slinging hero, donning the iconic Advanced Suit, made a surprise appearance in the lobby of the Spider Society headquarters. Otto placed the blame squarely on Peter for the loss of everything he held dear. Peter had not only foiled his plans to take revenge on Norman Osborn but also robbed him of the opportunity for a fresh start by disabling his mechanical arms. As it currently stands, all signs point to a strong likelihood that Harry Osborn will emerge as Venom in the forthcoming game, and this transformation could potentially set in motion a chain of events that pushes his father down the path of becoming the infamous Green Goblin.

The first game sprinkled numerous clues foreshadowing Norman Osborn’s inevitable transformation. During her investigation, Mary Jane uncovered an advanced augmented reality helmet in Osborn’s penthouse, along with a collection of purple bombs, unmistakably reminiscent of the Green Goblin’s signature arsenal. Notably, Norman frequently appears adorned in a dark green suit throughout the game. Will we finally get to see Norman become the Green Goblin in the new game?
