Madden 21 Ultimate Team recently released Team Diamonds 2 and MUT Sugar Rush, and now Golden Ticket has returned!

This fan-favorite MUT 21 promo allows lucky players to design some massive 99 OVR Madden 21 Ultimate Team cards.

Let’s go over all you need to know about Madden 21 Golden Ticket, and how you could get the chance to design a card of your own.

Players will get 3 shots to get a Golden Ticket in Madden 21 from 7pm to 9pm EST tonight, Wednesday, April 7th.

Is Golden Ticket coming to MUT 21?

Yes! Golden Ticket is officially returning to Madden 21 Ultimate Team this year!

Golden Ticket has been one of the most beloved Madden Ultimate Team promos in recent years, and fans are looking forward to seeing it in MUT once again.

Like previous years, a few select MUT 21 players will get a shot at designing a custom card that will be available in MUT 21 packs moving forward!

MUT Golden Ticket Release Date & Time

Now that we have confirmation of Golden Ticket returning to Madden 21, we also have news of exactly when players will have a shot at a coveted Golden Ticket.

This time, players will need to log into Madden 21 Ultimate Team during a very specific window of time to earn the tickets.

Golden Ticket is available in Madden 21 on Wednesday, April 7 from 7-9pm ET and Friday, April 9 from 9-11pm ET.

Golden Opportunities in Madden 21

Unlike previous years, every Madden 21 platform will have a shot at a Golden Ticket, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, PC, Steam, and Google Stadia.

While previous years required MUT 21 victories, this time you only need to log in to Madden 21 Ultimate Team, at which time players will receive three Golden Opportunities.

Golden Opportunities are packs which contain either a coin quicksell or the coveted Golden Ticket collectible.

During each of the windows detailed above, a total of 10 Golden Ticket collectibles will be awarded to players, for a total of 20 Golden Ticket collectibles across both dates.

Golden Ticket Players

We don’t yet know what the sets could look like for MUT 21 Golden Tickets, and it will ultimately depend on the decisions of those lucky players who win them.

When Golden Ticket took place last year for Madden 20, some of the Golden Ticket players included Bo Jackson, Julio Jones, Robert Griffin III, Adrian Peterson, and many others.

Going back another year, the Golden Ticket players for Madden 19 included Cam Newton, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Randy Moss, Lamar Jackson, and more.

MUT 21 Golden Ticket Rules

If chosen, there are strict rules in how you can design your custom card which will be available for players moving forward, and winners should be contacted via email by Friday, April 16, 2021.

It’s important that players update their Madden Rewards email address, which can be done by clicking here, as this is the email winners will be contacted at.

The MUT 21 Golden Ticket rules are as follows:

Golden Ticket players must be built off a base player item that has already been released in Madden Ultimate Team this year.
Golden Ticket players cannot be players that have retired from the NFL during the 2020 season (In other words, Legends are good; however, players who retired this year are not).
Golden Ticket players cannot use Icons from the Superstar KO mode.
Golden Ticket players will get a physical chemistry slot.
Golden Ticket players will get a team chemistry slot. Team chemistry will operate the same way it does for the Veterans program in that the team chemistries available will only be those that the player played for in the NFL in a regular season game.
Golden Ticket players will get a secondary position chemistry slot (if it applies to them).
Golden Ticket players will be stand alone player items and will not be eligible to go into Power Ups.
Winners get to choose which Tier 3 Buckets they want available on their Golden Ticket player. The only restriction is it must be from an archetype from that position. (E.g. Winner could choose for Michael Vick to have a Field General, Strong Arm, Improviser and Scrambler QB ability bucket).
Golden Ticket Players will receive a 5th ability slot.
Golden Ticket Players still need to hit the thresholds for abilities. (E.g. Winner could choose Tom Brady but it will be difficult for Brady to achieve the speed requirement for Escape Artist).
Physical ratings will be handled by the MUT Team but winners will be able to choose up to 3 skill ratings they want to see boosted.
Golden Ticket Players will not be a Limited Time (LTD) item and will be in packs for the remainder of the year with an increased opportunity to pull them from packs the first 48 hours after their initial release in game.
Winners get to choose card art from any program released except card art from the Legend LTD and Ultimate Legend Career Edition programs.
Winners can choose the archetype for ability buckets (Total of 5).
Winners have 10 days from being contacted to finish designing their Golden Ticket player. If a winner is unable to finish designing their Golden Ticket player in this time period, they will forfeit this opportunity.
