Webinar There's so much extraordinary, evolutionary promise in AI, but the advancement for our common good is often overshadowed by the fear factor – concerns about the harm it can cause if used unwisely and malevolently by bad actors.

Fear of the new is part of being human of course and sometimes with good reason. But how much less worrying would AI be if we were better informed, had a deeper understanding of the technology, and could implement it in a way that enhances its potential while avoiding any pitfalls?

Knowing how to use AI ethically might help, and being able to demonstrate how we used it while creating processes to handle errors and mistakes. Categorizing the technology could be another step in the right direction, as is learning how AI solutions are composed and deployed in real world applications today.

Want to hear more? Join the Register's Tim Phillips on 7 September at 5pm BST/12pm EDT/9am PDT in discussion with Dr Tom Bradicich of HPE as they explore why ethical AI is important. They'll examine the history of AI and it's influence on the world today before going on to consider ways to increase AI efficiency today. Tim and Tom will also set out a three part approach to AI ethics which could help with application delivery in the future.
