With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just two months away, fans are wondering if Warzone 2 Season 6 is the final MW2 season.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Season 6 is now live with three new weapons, including the TR-76 Geist Assault Rifle and ISO 9mm SMG, and a new Battle Pass that features a free Spawn Operator. Plus, The Haunting returns to Warzone in just a few weeks, bringing more Halloween-inspired Operators, events, and rewards.

When one Warzone 2 season drops, everyone always wants to know when the next one begins. As Modern Warfare 3 approaches, though, the typical rollout of seasonal Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 updates are coming to an end.

Yes, Warzone 2 Season 6 is the final MW2 season. Once Modern Warfare 3 releases, Warzone 2 will be integrated with MW3; seasonal updates, weapons, Operators, and more will all leave the MW2 world and crossover to MW3.

As a result, there will be no Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 7. Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded will be the last major update to Warzone 2 in the MW2 era.

Warzone 2 Season 6 Reloaded likely starts on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at 12 p.m. ET. The update will come during the halfway point of Warzone 2 Season 6.
