Healthcare services-focused private equity firm InTandem Capital has closed InTandem Capital Opportunities Fund on its $225m hard cap.

The firm said it will focus on providing expansion capital to existing portfolio companies and additional capital for future platform investments from InTandem Capital Partners Fund II.

Elliot Cooperstone, managing partner of InTandem Capital Partners, said, “We are grateful for the support we received from our limited partners. The new capital will allow us to provide additional resources to support the growth of our portfolio companies and to expand our investment strategy of identifying innovative and disruptive companies and high-caliber entrepreneurs within the healthcare services industry that will benefit from our hands-on, operational approach to accelerating growth and creating value.”

InTandem Capital Partners Fund II was closed on $250m in 2019. It secured capital commitments from at least 52 limited partners according to an SEC filing.

The firm closed its debut fund on $175m in 2017 supported by GCA Advisors, which served as a placement agent.
