Innolith has appointed Florian Wolf as CFO, with Nicole Roth becoming director of Sales.

Innolith is an energy technology company, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, which develops batteries for electric vehicle and energy storage applications.

The company runs battery research programmes at its labs in Bruchsal, Germany, where it is working on a next generation Li-ion battery technology platform that delivers rechargeable batteries.

Wolf joins Innolith having spent 14 years in investment banking in London and brings sector expertise in the electric vehicle ecosystem and experience in corporate finance to Innolith.  He joins from JP Morgan where he was an executive director in the firm's Diversified Industries Investment Banking team and specialised in corporate finance deals for automotive clients.

Roth has commercial experience in battery and automotive sectors having worked with A123 Systems, Continental Systems and Renault Deutschland.  Her role will include the engagement of Innolith customers, liaison with OEM automotive manufacturers for the design-in and production of battery systems and the development of new e-mobility markets.

"Innolith has reached a crossing point where our focus on new battery technology development has delivered the breakthroughs and we now switch to the industrialisation and commercial marketing of the technology following a successful introduction of the new cell to the automotive OEMs this spring," said Innolith CEO, Konstantin Solodovnikov.

"We have proven we have the best research and development team in the industry, and we are now building the best finance and sales teams."
