IndiGo Restores Direct Flights Between Delhi and Hong Kong

IndiGo has announced the recommencement of operations between Delhi and Hong Kong in a move that underlines the significance of Hong Kong as a vital business and travel hub in the Asia-Pacific region. According to IndiGo the restored route is set to enhance direct connectivity and strengthen ties between the two dynamic cities.

Commencing on October 5, 2023, the restored flights have been strategically tailored to meet the escalating travel and trade demands between India and Hong Kong. IndiGo said this development comes in response to a resurgence in air travel demand and passenger traffic in the Asia-Pacific region over recent months.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his delight at reintroducing daily direct flights that will link Delhi and Hong Kong, starting this October. “The Asia-Pacific region has witnessed a remarkable resurgence in air travel demand and passenger traffic over the past few months, signaling a vibrant rebound. Hong Kong occupies a pivotal role as a favored destination for both Indian tourists as well as enterprising business travellers. As a frontrunner in the aviation domain, we are resolute in meeting this surging demand by expanding flight options to bolster accessibility and catalyze economic growth.”

IndiGo Delhi – Hong Kong Flight Schedule

IndiGo Flight 6E 1707 will depart from Delhi at 05:20 AM and arrive in Hong Kong at 01:10 PM. Conversely, on the same day, IndiGo Flight 6E 1708 will take off from Hong Kong at 03:55 PM and touch down in Delhi at 07:20 PM.

Puneet Kumar, Director of South Asia and Middle East at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, welcomed the announcement. He said: “We are excited to welcome back IndiGo connecting India to Hong Kong. Hong Kong will now be more accessible for visitors from different parts of India, who will be delighted with our vibrant and diverse city offering everything from world class museums, historic architecture, brand-new attractions, incredible dining, and nightlife and, beyond its iconic skyline, refreshing hiking experiences in beautiful green outdoor landscapes.”
