Howard City council tables marijuana decision

After going into closed session for 40 minutes and then hearing a 20-minute presentation from an attorney, the Howard City Village Council tabled making a decision on whether to allow marijuana businesses within the village during Monday evening’s meeting.

The Village Council in January directed Village Manager Mike Falcon to ask village attorney David Eberle of Bloom Sluggett to provide them with more information as they consider whether to allow marijuana businesses. On Monday, the Village Council went into closed session with Eberle for 40 minutes to discuss the attorney’s memo regarding marijuana.
