While you might think that you will need to do some crazy challenges like getting 50 360 no-scope sniper kills while blinded to get the infamous Golden River camo, you would be wrong from the get-go. No, you don’t need to complete a challenge to unlock this camo, you need to complete a series of challenges. For those that have been enjoying what has been called Season 0 of Modern Warfare 3, the Weekly challenges tab has had a camo across all of its 4-week duration, the Golden River camo.

To unlock it, you’ll need to complete all 4 Weekly Challenges. Again, you might think this refers to any Weekly Challenge, and again you would be wrong. Every week a specific weapon or Aftermarket Part like the JAK Raven Kit has been on display waiting for you to collect. Each of these unlocks requires a total of 5 Weekly Challenge completions.

This only means that you need to complete a total of 25 Weekly Challenges to unlock the Golden River camo. You would have had to complete each of these Challenges in their according week (1 through 4). If you haven’t completed all the Weekly Challenges during these past few weeks, you are out of luck. That is unless you have discovered time travel or own a DeLorean and a couple of ounces of plutonium. Don’t worry though, the weapons and Aftermarket Parts that were formerly Weekly Challenges will be obtainable through the Armory Unlocks. While not confirmed, one can guess that the Golden River camo will also enjoy the same faith.
