While searching for the four masks to complete the Hall of the Four Puzzle, you’ll run into this smaller puzzle in the Atelier (also known as the five bells puzzle) on your way to find the Mask of Rage. This section of IGN’s Resident Evil Village Wiki Guide will break down how to solve it and where it leads next.
In order to find the Mask of Rage, you’ll have to take a detour through the Atelier. Thankfully, Lady Dimitrescu won’t follow you in there, which is perfect because you have a new puzzle to solve.
Inside you’ll find a very imposing portrait of Lady Dimitrescu, and another painting with five bells and a note saying, “Let the five bells of this chamber ring out”. In order to proceed, you must find and strike each bell – a fire will light to confirm, and you can find them in the following locations:
- Just below the small staircase on a small table.
- On top of the large glass cabinet that held the ammo
- Swinging back and forth through the holes in the wall alongside the gears
- On top of the chandelier
- Through the skylight off in the distance in view from the balcony at the top of the short stair
Once all five are struck, the large portrait will move aside, revealing a path forward to the Attic.
