Guide to building a Tank in Tears of the Kingdom

One very talented Reddit user first discovered this intricate build. This advanced Tank is highly defensive, letting Link get behind cover while driving it. It also has some offensive devices, which will shoot at any enemy in your way.

If you’re wondering how to build this Tank in Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to gather a handful of different Zonai Devices. I will provide a list of said devices below, so you can prepare for the complicated build you’ll have to create. Luckily, if you have the Autobuild ability, you can recreate this after you build it once.

  • Small Wheels x6
  • Carts x4
  • Sleds x3
  • Beam Emitters x2
  • Construct Heads x2
  • Stake
  • Spring
  • Steering Stick
  • Cannon

Once you’ve collected all the Zonai Devices required, you can find an area to start your build. If you follow the detailed directions in that video, creating this Tank won’t be too difficult. At some points, like when I put on the wheels, I found it frustrating getting it even. If one part of the build is slightly off, it probably won’t work that well. But at least I have Autobuild, so I can recreate it anytime by spending Zonaite.

Although I love the ingenuity and usefulness, the Tank, like many vehicles in Tears of the Kingdom, can be hard to steer. Just be careful on tight turns, because this Tank can only do wide turns. Nevertheless, if you’re curious, I still recommend trying out this build against something like a Hinox or a few Bokoblins.
