CaitlynYee made and shared this sorting hat build on Instructables. The hat plays Hedwig’s theme to help the wearer feel truly immersed in Hogwarts and then displays which house the wearer has been sorted into.
This sorting hat was constructed for Professor Gallaugher’s Physical Computing course at Boston College. It plays Hedwig’s theme before sorting the user into a random house. It truly makes my childhood Harry Potter dreams come to life!
