Near on four years ago, SturmFront ripped onto the PC scene, powering through Steam and giving players the chance to experience some serious bullet-hell. Now that same game comes to console, with SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition fuelling the rampage of Xbox, PlayStation and Switch players. 

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and playable on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 too, SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition from Red Art Games and the developer Andrade Games sees that same bullet-hell action reach new markets. 

Priced up at £8.39, SturmFront – The Mutant War: Übel Edition is an enhanced version of the original title, bringing with it more content, uber enhanced gameplay, improved visuals and, best of all, more blood. 

It sees us joining the world of one Siegfried von Hammerstein, a cyborg who has been engineered for war, as they fight their way through a crazy post-apocalyptic landscape that has been ripped apart by a new mutant menace. Set in 1984 and on the verge of the end of the world, it’ll be up to you to work as humanity’s last hope, taking charge of this SturmFront battle unit and blasting your way to victory. 

It plays out as a twin-stick shooter, but just so happend to come complete with some serious sounds too – both of heavy metal and psychedelic Electronica.
