Forestry issue lobbying intensifies

As the deadline for the Ministerial Inquiry into Land Use in Tairāwhiti to report draws closer, lobbying over the issue has become more intense, especially with a new minister at the helm.

Peeni Henare and other ministers are due to receive the report on April 30 that was instigated by the previous minister Stuart Nash before he was forced out of office, partly due to his inappropriate communications with lobbyists and donors.
