  • Forbes gave the WAGMI Temple an honorable mention after it debuted at SXSW.
  • SHIB developers confirmed that Shibarium documentation is nearly finished.
  • SHIB Burn declined by 96%, and 27M tokens were set aflame in the last 24 hours.

SHIB: The Metaverse is the upcoming Web3 project by SHIB Token, the official developer team of the popular canine cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB). Last week, Shiba Inu’s metaverse was presented at the annual SXSW conference in Austin, Texas.

During the event, Forbes tech columnist Charlie Fink experienced WAGMI Temple, the first HUB of Shiba Inu’s metaverse, first-hand. It was also revealed that SHIB: The Metaverse is being built with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5). Finally, the SHIB: Metaverse team organized a group meditation for peace and calm – the vibe for the inaugural HUB of the project.

SHIB Burn Rate Cools Down

Following recent developments, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) burn rate has significantly slowed. In the last 24 hours, only 27,613,608 canine tokens were sent to the bottomless pit, totaling just $289 across the community. In addition, SHIB SuperStore also burned $109 worth of Shiba Inu tokens four days ago.

It’s fair to say that the SHIB Burn rate posted solid results last week, as Shibarium Beta went live. However, the significantly slowed burning process might be a direct consequence of the ongoing rivalry between members of the SHIB Army. The intense dogfight can be seen across Telegram, Discord, and Crypto Twitter.

In response, main developer Shytoshi Kusama recently explained that all the SHIB Army members are now considered “The Defense Breed” after the original Defense Breed betrayed the community to start a rip-off token. Kusama and the developer team launched new Telegram and Discord channels to evade the controversial members in a severely divided community.

On The Flipside

  • The SHIB Token team was also rumored to be in talks with Paramount Pictures Futurist Ted Schilowitz, but the photo of Marcie Jastrow sitting with Mr. Schilowitz was deleted a day after the original tweet.
