First three players teased as Serie A TOTS release date confirmed

We are well over half way in FIFA 21’s Team of the Season (TOTS) promo, with the Italian Serie A the next squad arriving.

The Serie A TOTS has been confirmed on the @easportsfut Instagram, with three players teased.

We believe the first of these to be Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku, although that dribbling stat may be a touch generous for the big forward.

The 93-rated player with 90 passing could be almost anyone from left back Theo Hernandez to right midfielder Domenico Berardi.

The final player is a native Italian, and this could be Berardi again – but we think this is likely to be Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne, who has netted 19 goals in Serie A this term – his best ever return.

Release Date

The Team of the Season (TOTS) event rolls on once again this week with the Serie A team set to hit packs in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team on Friday, 21 May.

The Serie A TOTS content will replace the Bundesliga cards at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Just like during the La Liga week, there has been loads of great Bundesliga SBCs and objectives to complete and we expect the same for the Italian league.

The Portuguese Liga NOS players are currently in packs too, and they could be replaced by the Dutch Eredivisie squad.

Predictions

Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will almost certainly be the highest-rated player in the Serie A TOTS squad having scored 29 goals this season.

Ronaldo could be the first player to join the 99-club during the TOTS promo, although a 98 OVR in line with Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski’s cards.

Ronaldo could be joined in the squad by Inter duo Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez as they helped the Milan giants to their first league title in years.

SBCs and Objectives

The content for La Liga and Bundesliga weeks has been incredible with daily SBC releases and some top-level objective players.

We would love to see a Flashback Radja Nainngolan released at some point, but whatever we get will be highly rated.

We could also see some under-23 content, so get ready for some of Serie A’s top young players to become available.

Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic is a front-runner for any under-23 content as the 21-year-old Serbian star is right up with the league’s top goalscorers this season.

Bundesliga TOTS

There were some players we thought were nailed on to feature in the Bundesliga TOTS squad.

Bayern Munich goal machine Robert Lewandowski was one we were right about, as is Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

German midfielder Leon Goretzka is one of the cards we are most excited about though and he could be one of the best in the game.
