Meet Marc Mantini, a Canadian native who recently moved with his wife to 'Bitcoin Island' in the Philippines. Marc has been in Bitcoin since 2016 and first discovered its value for saving time and money on remittance transfers between Canada, the Philippines and Australia. But when the pandemic hit and the government exerted more control than ever before, he realized Bitcoin also represented personal freedom.
