Koei Tecmo Games has announced the launch of their latest mobile game, Dynasty Warriors (真・三國無双). Players who are interested in the game can now download it from Japan’s App or Play Store.
Like any other Dynasty Warrior games, the mobile version is a Hack’n’Slash Action RPG with some hero collection RPG element. Players will relief key moments of the 3 Kingdom era while recruiting different Generals from different kingdom.
The unique part of the game is that it can be played in portrait or landscape mode. The portrait mode is actually quite decently made to suit playing with one hand. However, the camera angle for both modes are quite limited. For a Musou game, I would prefer to have a wider camera angle to show the more of the enemies that I’m actually hitting instead of outside the camera.
Graphically, the game looks really good especially the character designs. Besides collecting characters, you will also be collecting scenario cards that can boost your General’s stats when equipped. Most of these scenario cards look really good.
