Source Node: 3016587

The Dota 2 Patch 7.35 is here, so here is everything from the Client Update. Some of the information will surprise you.

Alongside the Dota 2 Frostivus 2023, the most recent Dota 2 update added the latest Dota 2 patch 7.35. It has tons of new things that you need to know, and we will take a look at them in this article. The most recent update also includes several big quality-of-life changes, so let’s dive in. Keep in mind we made a Dota 2 Patch 7.35 wishlist last month, but we got a lot more things than those mentioned there.

The first thing we want to talk about in the Dota 2 Patch 7.35 is related to the general changes. There are a lot of new things, but we will highlight the most important ones:

  • Neutral Creeps now provide 2 less gold and are no longer affected by Mines, Statue, and Well buffs.
  • Super and Mega Creeps have +5 damage
  • The Courier now requires 1 melee attack, 2 ranged attacks, or 6 attacks from a creep/tower to die. It no longer has HP and can’t regen except in the fountain.
  • Watches have been added in the Mines and Well areas
  • The Twin Gates cost 75 mana
  • The teleport time to Outposts in the jungles is down from 6s to 4s.
  • Roshan has a new ability called the Roar of Retribution.
  • Roshan will now drop Roshan’s Banner, which creates a banner anywhere on the map that will buff creeps for 45s. It will give them more HP regen and 50% extra damage. This will last for 5 minutes, but it can be destroyed.
  • Double Damage Rune is now called Amplify Damage, and it also gives +15% Spell Amp.
  • The Invis rune will grant 25% damage reduction while invisible and +5% for each full rune cycle.
  • Roshan will drop his Cheese when he is on the Radiant side and the Banner when he is on the Dire side after his 2nd death.
  • Haste will last 22s and +3s for each cycle.
  • Arcane Rune now gives a 25% CD reduction instead of 30%.
  • Regen Rune will no longer be disabled when taking damage. Instead, you will only regen at 1% of your HP/mana per second.
  • There is a new bonus called AoE Radius

Item Updates

In addition to the patch 7.35 Dota 2 general changes, the new update also brings tons of new item changes. In fact, we have a lot of new items, some of which have been a part of the game before but were removed:

  • Ring of Tarrasque
  • Tiara of Selemene
  • Khanda
  • Parasma

Besides these, there are also tons of other Dota 2 Patch 7.35 item changes to some of the things we are used to. There is no way we can go over everything, but let’s take a look at some of the most important ones:

  • Bloodthorn – The item is reworked and now requires an Orchid, Javelin, Hyperstone, and a 450g recipe.  It provides less INT, mana regen, and bonus damage, but it gives way more attack speed and also provides +25% magic resistance, as well as Mage Slayer’s passive.
  • Ethereal Blade – This Dota 2 item now requires a Ghost Scepter, Aether Lens, and a 1600g recipe. Its total cost is 4650 instead of 5375, and it no longer provides the Kaya-based bonuses.
  • Revenant’s Brooch – This item now requires you to get a Sacred Relic, a Voodoo Mask, and a recipe worth 800g. The total cost is down from 6200 to 4900, and it now provides +70 damage and +20 Spell Lifesteal. Moreover, it has an effect that allows you to make your attacks cost 75 mana and deal magical damage. You can also attack Ethereal units.

Neutral Items

As expected, the 7.35 patch in Dota 2 also brought tons of changes to the Neutral Items. We have a lot of new things, as well as a few that are no longer available. Let’s divide them into two groups and share info about those that are new.

New Neutral Items in Dota 2:

  • Safety Bubble – Tier 1 item grants +5 HP and a 100 HP barrier that is fully restored if you don’t take damage for 5 seconds.
  • Royal Jelly – Returning Tier 1 item, grants +50 HP and mana. It also gives HP and mana regen when used.
  • Light Collector – New Tier 2 item grants +10% MS. Passively, it gives +6 HP regen during the day and +3 mana regen at night (its effect can also be doubled). The item’s activate effect allows it to destroy trees in a 325 radius).
  • Whisper of the Dread – T2 item gives +150 mana and grants +10% spell amp but at the cost of a 15% decreased vision during the day.
  • Doubloon – New Tier 3 item, grants +5 HP and +2.5 mana regen. When used, it converts 20% of your max HP to mana or the opposite.
  • Nemesis Curse – T3 item that gives +35 damage, but the wearer takes +8% more damage.
  • Craggy Coat – This is a returning T3 item that gives armor and AS. You can get +12 armor for 8s at the cost of -30 movement speed.
  • Ancient Guardian – T4 item, gives +50 damage, and its active effect also grants +50 damage if the wearer is within 2000 range from an Ancient.
  • Aviana’s Feather – a new T4 item, grants +25 evasion and +30 MS. When the target is below 30% hp, it gets the flying movement effect.
  • Rattlecage – T4 item, gives +12 armor. Also, it deals 125 damage to two random units when the wearer takes 180 damage.
  • Magic Lamp – Returning T5 item that gives 1000 HP.
  • Unwavering Condition  – Tier 5 item that gives +95% magic resistance, but the hero’s maximum HP is set to 1500.
