CS:GO Star AWPers Sh1ro and Jame Shortlisted for Forbes 30 Under 30 Russia 2021

Russian star CS:GO AWPers Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov and Dzhami "Jame" Ali have been shortlisted for ‘Forber 30 Under 30 Russia 2021’ list, along side many other national and international sports players. Both sh1ro and Jame have been performing really well this season, while the former has been a stand out player for Gambit Esports helping the team win multiple tournaments this year, the latter has also been hard at work leading Virtus.pro from the front while maintaining his reputation as a lethal sniper. Together they have managed to elevate the standard of CS:GO within the CIS region, something that was noticed by the entire community and praised by many players and talents as well.

The 19-year-old Russian AWPer who is popularly known as ‘the future s1mple’ by the CS:GO community, has been shortlisted for the ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Russia 2021’ list under the category of ‘Sports and Esports’. He is 1 among the 10 athletes present under the category of 'Sports and Esports'. 

The talented youngster who currently plays for Gambit Esports has been delivering some exceptional performances since the start of the year. He has maintained an overall HLTV rating of 1.26, while having an impact rating of 1.18, in 2021 so far. Not only this, sh1ro was also named as the MVP of IEM Katowice 2021 where he held an insane K/D difference of +111 across 17 maps.

This goes on to show what a fantastic asset he has been for the Russian organization, helping them achieve multiple top finishes across various CS:GO tournaments like a victory at IEM Katowice 2021, Pinnacle Cup, and BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021, along with a runners-up finish at ESL Pro League 13 and Snow Sweet Snow #1.

Jame

It is literally ‘Jame Time’ as the captain of Virtus.pro makes it to longlist of the prestigious ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Russia 2021’. The lethal AWPer might not have a lot of achievements to show as VP have been quite turbulent since the start of the year, but individually the 22-year-old has been on point with his performances.

This year Jame has so far held an overall HLTV rating of 1.22, along with an impact rating of 1.15, and a solid 0.74 kills per round (KPR). This shows that despite being handed the responsibilities of being the in-game leader for VP, Jame has not let that have an impact on his performance.

Virtus.pro so far has had just one good run in 2021, achieving a runners up position at IEM Katowice 2021. But the team looks determined to work hard, rectify their problems, and keep their best foot forward going ahead, which speaks volumes about the team’s mindset and mentality.

Earlier this month, CS:GO stars Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz were featured in ‘Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2021’ under the category of ‘Sports & Games’, along with a few other esports athletes like Finnish professional Dota 2 player Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen and Cloud9's League of Legends player Luka "Perkz" Perković.
