The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) announced August 4 it had partnered with the leadership consultation group Chi Studios to create a supply chain executive development program dubbed the CSCMP Executive Supply Chain Academy.

The CSCMP Executive Supply Chain Academy will provide industry leaders with the skills needed to navigate current and future challenges in the supply chain space.

The six-month program will consist of 40 current and former C-suite executives. Early applications for the academy are now being accepted through October 5, 2023 with registration scheduled to close November 1, 2023. The first in-person and virtual academy sessions will commence January 2024.

“We are in the midst of a once-in-a-generation evolution in the supply chain industry,” said Max Baxa, president and CEO of CSCMP. “With major changes in the global trade environment, and an entirely new universe of technologies that can bring visibility, agility and intelligence to supply chain teams, it is critical that we upskill our future leaders with a new set of capabilities.”
