Crypto Industry Veteran Manhar Garegrat Joins Liminal as Country Head

Liminal, a crypto wallet infrastructure and custody solutions provider, has appointed Manhar Garegrat as the Country Head for India and Global Partnerships. Garegrat’s extensive experience in the blockchain industry is expected to enhance Liminal’s position in the Indian market and provide valuable insights and strategic leadership.

Garegrat, a seasoned business leader, has previously played a crucial role in driving growth and strategic initiatives for ZebPay and CoinDCX, two leading Indian crypto firms.

His collaborations with government departments, ministries, and influential think tanks have helped shape digital asset regulations in India. Notably, he contributed significantly to scaling CoinDCX from a promising startup to a $2 billion company.

In his new role, Garegrat will be responsible for expanding Liminal’s presence in India and driving global partnerships. Leveraging his expertise in executive leadership, policy initiatives, and business management, he aims to make substantial contributions to Liminal’s mission of offering secure and compliant custody solutions to enterprises and crypto-native organizations.

Mahin Gupta, the Founder of Liminal, welcomed Garegrat as a valuable addition to the team. Gupta expressed confidence in Garegrat’s deep understanding of business requirements, passion for blockchain and Web3, and strong leadership skills, which will be instrumental in driving Liminal’s growth in the digital asset management space in India.

Liminal recently obtained the Trust or Company Service Provider (TCSP) License from the Hong Kong Companies Registry. This milestone establishes Liminal as a leading custodian in the Asia-Pacific region and allows the company to offer regulated digital asset custodial services in Hong Kong.

Garegrat said that he looks forward to leading the team in India to achieve new heights, particularly in the decentralized finance sector, and contributing to the reimagination of fintech in India through blockchain technology.
