About Runes

Runes are items dropped by event bosses sometimes. The bosses in question are the Grasslands Warlord and the Bandit Lord. There are four in all, listed below.

• Rune Of Shattered Earth
• Rune Of Raging Tempest
• Rune Of Colossal Wrath
• Rune Of Endless Challenge

So, what are these runes for?

About Runestones And Aetherstone Isle

Around the Grasslands area, you find a number of large stones with inverted triangles on the front. The runes correspond to each of these stones, and you can place the correct run into them to light them up.

What happens when you light all the runestones? Once they’re activated, head to the circular portal in the middle of the lake outside Unnamed Village. It will open the path to the Aetherstone Golem Be ready for a big fight.

This is one of the toughest bosses you can fight in the game so far. If you can get some friends to help out, it’s a good idea. The loot is more than worth it.
