Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk now has a new kind of zombie

Call of Duty: Warzone’s zombies are getting a little tougher to kill. In Warzone’s latest update, the undead have moved to Verdansk’s TV Station and some of them have adapted to be more resistant to bullets.

According to Warzone’s latest in-universe intelligence briefing, a new strain of undead enemy has arrived on Verdansk. These new zombies have “unusually strong resistance to ballistics across their anterior.” This likely means that these zombies take less damage in their chests and maybe even their heads — at least from the front.

Joining these new zombies are regular undead shamblers, along with the unique zombies from previous locations, like the ones that emitted noxious fumes, or had electromagnetic discharges.

The in-universe post goes on to implore Verdansk’s operators to come to the TV Station to help eliminate the threat. The post goes on to say that the map is now 33% contaminated. Based on how fast the infection seems to be spreading each week, it seems like that number will only increase in the near future. For now, players can head to the TV Station to take out some zombies and get some extra-rare loot in the area as well.
