Call of Duty 2023 is Reportedly Modern Warfare 3, Release Date Detailed

Call of Duty 2023 will reportedly be called Modern Warfare III alongside a release date report, per Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson.

“Insider Gaming sources have revealed that this year’s Call of Duty title will be called Modern Warfare 3 (Modern Warfare III),” Henderson reported. “It’s been widely reported that Call of Duty 2023 was a ‘premium DLC’ for Modern Warfare 2 and although that was the case at one time, this year’s title is a fully-fledged sequel.”

“Modern Warfare 3 will feature campaign, multiplayer, zombies and a new Warzone 2 map during the title’s first season,” according to Henderson.

As well, according to Henderson, the game will release Nov. 10. Here’s a list of key dates from Henderson’s report:

Exciting to note that Zombies is returning in the new title, but also that a new Warzone 2 map will arrive with the new title. Much in the same way that Call of Duty: Vanguard introduced Caldera to the original battle royale title.
