Broadridge Financial
Solutions, a US-headquartered fintech company, has appointed Martin Koopman,
the President of its Bank Broker Dealer (BBD) ICS, as its new Chief Product Officer.
Broadridge announced on Monday that the executive’s appointment will become
effective by January 1, 2023.

Koopman is a business
executive with over 23 years of industry experience in investor communications, capital markets and institutional trading. He has worked for top organizations such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext and the Boston
Consulting Group.

The executive co-founded
Cameron systems, a securities trading connectivity firm based on the FIX
protocol, and led its sale to Orc Software, which is now called Itiviti. He joined Broadridge
in 2014 as the Head of Strategy for the firm’s Investor Communication Services
(ICS). He was later named President of BBD ICS in 2017 and helped “steer that
business through a period of double-digit growth and innovation.”

In the new role,
Broadridge, which delivers technology-driven solutions to banks,
broker-dealers, asset and wealth managers and public companies, said Koopman
will be responsible for its enterprise product vision and strategy. He will report to CEO Tim Gokey.

The fintech company also
expects Koopman to work towards “building enterprise-wide platforms to benefit
Broadridge clients, empowering product management teams, and accelerating
innovation in partnership with our technology teams.”

Speaking on Koopman’s
appointment, Gokey noted that the executive’s “proven record of driving product
innovation at both Broadridge and at previous companies will be
“invaluable” to the fintech firm. Koopman, on his part,
said he was excited to lead the company’s efforts as its scales towards
becoming the leading global fintech firm serving governance and capital markets as well as wealth and investment managers.
