Blue Air has announced that it will launch 4 new routes from Milan Linate, a testament to its participation in the vicious fight for market share within the Italian aviation industry.

With a struggling national carrier, Alitalia, a growing low-cost presence by Ryanair, easyJet and Wizz Air, Blue Air reminds the industry that it will not standby and watch.

As of September 20, 2021, new services between Milan Linate and Madrid, Prague, Palermo and Lamezia Terme will enter into operation. Services to Madrid will operate 4 times a week and Palermo will be 7 weekly. Both Prague and Lamezia Terme will operate thrice weekly.

“We are delighted to announce Blue Air new service from Milan central airport Linate to 4 new great destinations – Madrid, Prague, Palermo and Lamezia,” explained Blue Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, Krassimir Tanev.

Blue Air recently moved its entire Milan operation from Malpensa Airport to Linate Airport. On August 16, it further boosted its network from the Italian city, adding connections to Catania, Barcelona and Paris Charles de Gaulle. It also recently upgraded its Bucharest to Milan services to twice daily.
