Bears great Jim McMahon launches ‘MAC 9’ marijuana brand – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) – Legendary Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon is back to trying to smoke the competition – or maybe out-smoke them.

The Punky QB has partnered with RevenantHoldings to launch a brand called MAC 9 at Illinois cannabis dispensaries supplied by Flora Arbor LLC.

A series of meet-and-greets are scheduled with McMahon beginning Monday.

The retired athlete and Super Bowl XX champion said marijuana has replaced his reliance on opioid-based medication.

“Having personally transitioned from 100 Percocets a month to using Mac 9 pre-rolls, I haven’t touched an opioid since,” McMahon said in a news release. “Our mission with Revenant is to share this transformative path with the world.”

MAC 9 is available in flower, pre-rolls, and vape cartridges, according to the release.
