BearingPoint RegTech Rebrands to Regnology

BearingPoint RegTech, one of the leading RegTech companies around the world, announced its rebranding to Regnology today. Earlier this year, the company reached an important milestone by joining forces with Vizor Software.

According to an official announcement shared by the company, the recent rebranding marks the independence from BearingPoint Group, which sold the RegTech business to Nordic Capital at the end of 2020.

Regnology is one of the prominent providers of innovative regulatory, risk and supervisory technology solutions. The company offers efficient and innovative solutions to connect financial institutions and regulators.

In the last few years, Regnology has seen significant growth due to a surge in a demand for its RegTech offering. The company has a total workforce of more than 770 employees at 17 different office locations in 12 countries.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Jürgen Lux, CEO at Regnology, said: “Today marks an important milestone for our company. We are completing the separation from the BearingPoint Group and laying the foundation for a new chapter in our joint success story with Vizor Software. The new name Regnology represents both the past and the future.”

RegTech

The global RegTech sector has grown significantly in the last few years. Emerging RegTech companies formed several partnerships with leading global financial services providers in 2021. Last month, TransferMate Global Payments picked the RegTech platform, ComplyAdvantge for the company’s AML and risk screening solutions. In the latest announcement, Regnology highlighted the growing need for RegTech in the global financial sector.
