A new season of AfreecaTV StarCraft League has been announced, starting with the online qualifier.
Online qualifiers will be held during February 3rd-4th, with 24 players advancing to the main event. Maps to be used during the qualifier are Neo Dark Origin, Apocalypse, and Retro.
The format of the main event is identical to ASL16, as is the total prize pool of ₩78,000,000 KRW and its distribution.

What don't you like about the format? I quite like it. My only change would be perhaps bringing some Bo3's into the Ro24.

yes, exactly. the ro24 format should be like the ro16 format and the ro16 format should be full bo3
