The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) launched its APICS Certified in Transformation for Supply Chain (CTSC) credential July 26, providing professionals with new tools to manage end-to-end supply chain transformation.

The CTSC program was created by ASCM, a non-profit that offers certification and training in supply chains, for mid-level professionals that are tasked with supporting or transforming their organization’s supply chain.

Individuals must first pass a 150-question exam in order to receive the CTSC credential. The price of the credential will be based on the type of ASCM membership held by the person participating in the program.

“The past few years of significant disruptions to the global supply chain has proven to supply chain leaders across industries the importance of staying on top of their skills to be prepared for future crises as well as be ready to realign their businesses,” said Lisa Sallstrom, MS, CAE, PMP, executive vice president of Products & Services for the ASCM. “Holders of the CTSC credential will be able to gain a competitive advantage in the market by demonstrating their understanding of supply chain transformation frameworks and best practices.”
