When you ask anyone what the best TV show of all time is, you may just get a different answer every single time. However, the likes of Breaking Bad, the recent Succession, and AMC’s The Walking Dead are sure to get repeat mentions. It is the latter that is soon being brought to the gaming front, with the announcement of The Walking Dead: Destinies. This third-person action-adventure experience will be coming to PC and console soon.

You are Rick

Whether you have become familiar with TWD through the TV show, or the legendary Telltale narrative series of games, The Walking Dead: Destinies is sure to put up the hairs on the back of your neck. 

This is a thrilling zombie experience, in which you decide who lives and who dies. Starting off in the boots of iconic protagonist Rick Grimes, you’ll travel to famous TWD locations, such as the Greene family farm and Woodbury. 

However, your existence as Rick may not be prolonged. AMC and GameMill Entertainment make it clear that the history of TWD’s story can be entirely rewritten by yourself. Perhaps you believe Shane should lead the group of survivors, and take Rick out himself? It’s all possible here.

Tense Combat

When you aren’t deciding the fate of your group, you’ll be engaging in some thrilling third-person combat. 

Whilst stealth is most certainly an option, fans of blood, guts and gore will be pleased. Wield bats, katanas and a variety of ranged weapons to take down the undead.

The Walking Dead: Destinies does not yet have a concrete release date. However, we do know that the game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC via Steam.
