What Are VeeFriends Super Stickers?

VeeFriends Super Stickers are limited edition, trading-card-sized holographic stickers that pay homage to the golden days of early character collectible cards from the 90s and the allure of 1980’s vending machine stickers. These stickers capture the passion and excitement of early card collecting and bring that spirit to the VeeFriends community.

Sticker Collecting: A Long Lasting Tradition

Sticker collecting has a fascinating history. Did you know that characters like Zelda, Ninja Turtles, Sesame Street, and Harry Potter, among others, offered stickers as their earliest collectible sets? Iconic brands such as Pokemon and Marvel have creatively incorporated stickers into vending machines and consumer products. Even trading card boxes from Marvel and Super Mario contain collectible stickers. Many of the world’s most iconic characters and athletes have their own collectible stickers-Try searching your favorite character followed by “Prism Sticker” online, and you’ll be amazed at what you discover.

In the world of sports collecting, stickers have had a significant impact. For example, take the iconic 1986 Fleer Basketball set, which not only featured 12 cards in each pack but also one sticker and a piece of chewing gum. Michael Jordan even had a sticker before his Fleer rookie card and sticker, making it one of the most collectible and sought after stickers ever released. Sticker collections from the NBA, NFL, MLB, and more have been released annually for decades.

At the pinnacle of sticker collecting is the FIFA World Cup collectible stickers phenomenon. VeeFriends Aspiring Alpaca Super Stickers

In August 2023, VeeFriends introduced a new addition to the Super Stickers Collection, the Aspiring Alpaca. These Super Stickers came with various rarities and were already graded by CGC, enhancing their appeal to collectors. To obtain these stickers, VeeFriends enthusiasts had the opportunity to get them through a special promotion. For every purchase of VeeFriends x Reebok Aspiring Alpaca Classic Nylon shoes through Shop.VeeFriends.com, buyers would receive 1 of these exclusive Super Stickers.

2023 Halloween Mystery Pins and Super Stickers

VeeFriends has continued to captivate collectors with exciting releases, and the 2023 VeeFriends Halloween Mystery Collection is no exception. This special collection, released in October 2023, included a character pin and a matching limited edition Super Sticker in each mystery box. These spooky themed Super Stickers come with a “Halloween 2023” badge in the bottom right corner, sitting on top of the iconic prismatic Super Sticker background.

The 2023 Halloween Mystery Collection boasts 15 featured characters from the VeeFriends Monster Squad. Collectors have the opportunity to chase rare “Spooktacular” pins and corresponding Super Sticker rarities, limited to 99 each.

For an even more exclusive treat, the Gemstone Edition Very, Very, Very, Very, Lucky Black Cat pin sits alongside the Gemstone Edition Super Sticker as the ultimate chase in this set. While 40 Gemstone Black Cat pins were produced, the Halloween mystery chaser is the only one accompanied by a Super Sticker, making it a true 1/1 collector’s item.
