5 Useful Airbrushing Tips

Source Node: 1599878

As I have written about here before, I have a love/hate relationship with airbrushing. I love what it can accomplish, but hate how difficult and finicky the process can be.

To try and up my brushing game, I watch a lot of airbrushing videos. Most of the tips and beginner videos cover the same ground. This video, from Airbrush Asylum, has some tips that I have not encountered yet.

I love his suggestion for how to engage a trigger on a dual action brush. I have a really hard time holding down and manipulating the trigger. I am going to try to learn this way of holding it (seen in the above image) and wrapping the air hose around your arm to remove some of the drag from it.

I have also never heard anyone talking about tip drying (and how to minimize it) or the importance of flushing out the back of your airbrush.
