ריפל נוספה למרשם ספקי שירותי הנכסים הווירטואליים של הבנק המרכזי של אירלנד

ההחלטה תתמוך בעסקיה של Ripple שכן, בתור VASP רשום, Ripple Markets יוכל לספק שירותי נכסים דיגיטליים מסוימים בתוך אירלנד.

לאחר הרישום, ריפל תבקש לספק שירותים ללקוחות ברחבי האזור הכלכלי האירופי לאחר כניסת תקנת השווקים בנכסי קריפטו (MiCA) לתוקף בסוף 2024, בכפוף לרכישת רישיונות נחוצים אחרים.

ריפל פתחה את משרדה בדבלין בשנת 2022, מתוך הכרה בכך שאירלנד ממשיכה למצב את עצמה כיעד נוח לחברות הבונות טכנולוגיות חדשות לשירותים פיננסיים. לדוגמה, ה-CBI יצר מרכז חדשנות ב-2018 כדי לאפשר לחברות פינטק לתקשר עם הרגולטור בצורה יותר לא רשמית.

Ripple Market’s VASP registration in Ireland comes as Ripple continues to prioritise working with regulators around the world in order to bring the benefits of crypto and blockchain technology to enterprises and their customers. In October 2023, Ripple’s Singapore subsidiary – Ripple Markets APAC Pte Ltd – secured its Major Payments Institution (MPI) licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). In the U.S., Ripple has obtained the majority of its 35 money transmitter licences (MTLs) in 2023. MTLs are a powerful enabler to build and deliver best-in-class customer experience.

בנוסף, בנובמבר 2023 אישרה רשות השירותים הפיננסיים של דובאי (DFSA) את הנכס הדיגיטלי XRP לשימוש בתוך המרכז הפיננסי הבינלאומי של דובאי (DIFC). מהלך זה אומר שחברות נכסים וירטואליים מורשים בתוך ה-DIFC יוכלו כעת לשלב את XRP, הנכס המקורי של XRP Ledger (XRPL), בשירותי הנכסים הווירטואליים שלהם. בתור בונה מפתח ומשתמש ב-XRP Ledger, Ripple רואה באישור זה פוטנציאל לפתוח תשלומים אזוריים חדשים ומקרי שימוש אחרים בנכסים וירטואליים ב-XRP Ledger.
