ESL Open Week #180: NightMare, ShowTimE, Clem nyer

Week #180 of the ESL Open Cups was played over the ESL Masters nyár weekend, limiting participation and producing some unusual results.

The Korean/Asian server cup was the most heavily affected by Masters Summer, with most of the usual title contenders tied up in Sweden. That left the door open for Lidércnyomás to take the cup, beating Firefly in the finals.

The European server cup was better attended, but still missed a number of notable regulars. The weekly title ultimately went to ShowTimE, who defeated MaxPax 3-2 in the finals. The thinned out player pool allowed for a few surprises, such as Deca and BabyMarine making the top eight, and Guru reaching the final four.
