7RCC filer ansökan för Bitcoin ETF med miljövänlig kant

Asset manager 7RCC has applied for an environment-conscious spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to a Dec. 18 arkivering.

ETF, som går av tickern BTCK, och formellt heter 7RCC Bitcoin and Carbon Credit Futures ETF, har ett nytt tillvägagångssätt eftersom dess strategin innebär att investera i den främsta kryptovalutan och få exponering mot Carbon Credit Futures. Kapitalförvaltarens S-1 uttalande lyder:

"Fondens investeringsmål är att återspegla de dagliga förändringarna av priset på bitcoin och värdet på Carbon Credit Futures, som representeras av Vinter Bitcoin Carbon Credits Index... Indexet är utformat för att spåra resultatet av att investera i en portfölj som består av 80 % bitcoin och 20% Carbon Credit Futures."

7RCC’s approach toward its Bitcoin ETF application stands out from other applicants in the field, Inklusive BlackRock. However, this move is not entirely surprising considering the firm’s track record in environmental, social, and corporate (ESG) investments.
