Indonesian credit scoring firm Skorlife has secured US$4 million in a seed funding round led by Hummingbird Ventures and joined by QED Investors, AC Ventures, and Saison Capital.

Skorlife had previously raised a US$.2 million pre-seed round in September 2022 from AC Ventures, Saison Capital and several angel investors in Asia.

Co-founded by Ongki Kurniawan and Karan Khetan, Skorlife had launched its offering to the public during that time and has since reached 100,000 downloads.

The company also claims to be the only credit builder to join the Indonesian Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) regulatory sandbox and secure ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications.

The company will use the funds to expand its team and product suite as well as on marketing initiatives.

SkorLife enables users to check their credit scores as well as financial history and performance for the last 24 months so that they can get an idea of their loan approval probability.

The platform allows users to monitor their loans, paylater, and other credit activities as well.
