CNN reported on April 5, 2019 — “There was a time when the possibilities of air travel seemed limitless. Boeing’s 747 “Jumbo Jet” supersized commercial aviation, then Concorde took it supersonic. But these milestones were half a century ago, way back in 1969. The Spike S-152, [is] being developed with patent-pending Quiet Supersonic Flight technology which Spike Aerospace claims will allow it to hit full cruising speed of Mach 1.6 without creating a loud sonic boom at ground level.” Read Full Article

Spike Aerospace has made tremendous progress on the the design and configuration of the Spike Quiet Supersonic Jet. By the end of this summer, Spike will be flying its second demonstrator to validate the aerodynamics, control and stability of the aircraft at subsonic speeds. In fact, it is the only company that has actually built and flown a demonstrator.
