CNN reported on April 5, 2019 — “There was a time when the possibilities of air travel seemed limitless. Boeing’s 747 “Jumbo Jet” supersized commercial aviation, then Concorde took it supersonic. Spike Aerospace has made tremendous progress on the the design and configuration of the Spike Quiet Supersonic Jet. By the end of this summer, Spike will be flying its second demonstrator to validate the aerodynamics, control and stability of the aircraft at subsonic speeds. In fact, it is the only company that has actually built and flown a demonstrator.
