Call of Duty Season 3 will soon begin in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone alike - and with it comes some gun buffs and nerfs.
While we don't have a complete set of Call of Duty Season 3 patch notes (which is officially arriving on Wednesday, April 21) - we do know these Call of Duty guns will be receiving some changes.
Call of Duty Season 3
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will soon be shaken up dramatically with the launch of Season 3.
The new season will introduce new maps for Black Ops Cold War multiplayer as well as a new warzone map after the destruction of Verdansk, along with new operators, new vehicles, and plenty more.
It will also introduce some new guns, and after a recent reveal from Treyarch, we know which current Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War guns will be receiving buffs and nerfs as well.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Gun Buffs, Nerfs
Call of Duty Season 3 will bring a ton of balance changes to several different Black Ops Cold War guns.
Thanks to a new reveal, we know these are due for some buffs and nerfs:
- All LMGs
- All Shotguns
- FFAR 1
- Krig 6
- Assault Rifle barrel attachments
- SMG sprint speed

New Weapons
While a ton of Call of Duty Black Ops guns are getting buffs and nerfs on Tuesday, the game will also be receiving some new weapons as well.
This includes the PPSh-41, Swiss K31, CARV.2, and the AMP63.
